About Early Childhood Screening
Early Childhood Screening is a free and simple check of your child's vision, hearing, growth, development, and learning skills. Minnesota law requires all children to complete a screening before entering kindergarten. Screening helps identify strengths and any areas where additional support may be beneficial to ensure your child is ready for school success. Parents should register for an appointment when their child is age 3 or older.
