Healthy Spaces, Happy Faces: Reducing Food- Waterborne Risks in EC
Attention early childcare professionals! You are invited to join Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) for our 2026 fall training series!
Attendees must be in the SMIF region to register for this class. SMIF serves south central and southeastern Minnesota which includes 20 counties, 175 communities and one Native nation. This includes the counties of Blue Earth, Brown, Dodge, Faribault, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Goodhue, Martin, Le Sueur, Nicollet, Mower, Rice, Olmsted, Steele, Sibley, Waseca, Wabasha, Winona and Watonwan, as well as the Prairie Island Indian Community.

Review strategies that protect and promote children’s health and wellness during daily meals and snacks, including an overview of the most current “Dirty Dozen” and “Clean Fifteen” lists. Inspire healthier habits and safer routines that support children now and throughout their futures.
